Green juice two ways

Last summer I did a 6 day juice cleanse, containing heaps of home made juice. I absolutely loved it, and was left with so much energy and vitality when it was over and done with. Before I started the cleanse I was so worried I would feel hungry and lethargic all the time, but non of those things happened.

I haven’t done one since, but I’ve definitely given my body the pleasure of this healthy fastfood every now and then. What I want to share with you today is my two greenest and bestest recipes for enjoyable nutrient dense juice.

The apples and pears are for sweetness, so if you’re new to green juices I would recommend using 2 apples. As you go advanced you might want to cut down on the sweetness.

BASIC GREEN JUICE
1 cucumber
1-2 celery sticks
2 handfuls spinach
1-2 green apples
Juice from 1/2 lime

PINK GREEN JUICE
1 cucumber
2 celery sticks
1 handful kale
1-2 apple/pear
1 beetroot
Juice from 1/2 lime
